Jon - always with a plan

It was a fall afternoon in 2021, and Shirley was on her way to meet Jon for their first date at a ramen shop in Palo Alto. She arrived fashionably late (as Jon finds out, is a very consistent Shirley thing) and spotted a mature-looking guy in a tan jacket waiting outside. “Is that him?” she wondered. It was. He looked liked his photos (great!). There was a line that snaked around the block at the ramen place - and they don't take reservations (not great...). A man with no plan, Shirley thought. Before she could suggest a pivot, Jon leaned in and said, “So... the wait here’s crazy. Good thing I made a Plan B - we have a backup RSVP at the restaurant across the street as well.” Shirley was impressed. A man with a plan... and a backup plan? That was the moment she realized Jon might just be the one.

When Shirley casually suggested dinner afterward, Jon realized he wasn’t just intrigue - he was hooked. That day set the tone for everything that followed: Jon plans, Shirley improvises, and somehow, together, it always turns into something wonderful.
